The legends on this page are all dogs who have been a link in the chain of history. Some have been prolific producers, some great show dogs and others being a vital link between the past and present. Each dog has played a significant role in history, either by being the start of an SBT kennel, a dog that introduce someone to the breed, or the sire to a line of champions. For the most part, they are well bred Stafford’s. While health testing is a relative new science, many of the breeders of these dogs, had an innate ability to eliminate faults by having an eye for what is correct. You will notice, while there are changes over the years in size and fitness levels, that breed type is still there for most legends.
